Monday

Well, it's Monday today, and the beginning of a crazy busy week!



Saturday I hit the gym with the Tina and Jenn, then Adam and I took his mother to Costco :) We got chicken at a crazy good price ! Then Sunday was a (sucky-ass) Bridal Show with Jenn, and a nap, along with some studying. And today!!! I have a ton to do. Up to have brunch with Kim, dropping pay info at the agency, studying up to m y ears, gym, and more studying. Start work on Thursday, and I'm nervous about how busy I'm about to get. Good bye social life! I've had it so nice lately.... At least it's sunny out! And I'm having a good hair and makeup day! P

Catching Up

Well it's been awhile since I've updated. time to catch up!

The interview I mentioned in my last post was with a Temp Agency. The liked me and took me on. They have sourced me out to Eastlink, starting next Thursday. I had to interview with Eastlink to get the position, and apparently they were very very impressed with me. That's always nice to hear :)

I met my first (2 week) weight loss goal yesterday. :)

I started my Anatomy & Physiology Class this week, and I start the Intro to Nursing next week. First A&P assignment is now done! (Turns out I thought it was due today, but not until next week - D'oh!)

My T-Cat is being extended for 6 more months, which means my medical file needs to go to Ottawa for review. They are changing it slightly so that I can do a revised fitness test, which is good. That means that I should be employable by November! Then it will only be a matter of finding a contract....

I got to see Maudie and Lex yesterday. He's adorable! A screamer, but adorable. And Maudie is stunning as always. She's such a strong woman!

I also went out with Kristi last night. It was wonderful to see her. we haven't had a chance to hang out since I moved here (she was in Edmonton) but now that she is in NB, I'm going to have to make a point of going to see her. And she knows Crystal Tait, which is awesome! I like my circle of friends.

You know what I just thought of? My circle of friends, at one point, contained only smokers. Now, it's the other way around! Thank goodness. I like being a non-smoker! Love it, in fact.

Now, off to make myself presentable and run some errands. TGIF!

What a freakin day!

We just picked up my wedding ring, and I love it! It's perfect! I can't wait to wear it !!!

*sniff sniff*

My laptop is dead. Dead dead dead. I only bought in 2007, and now it's dead! The power center doesn't seem to be working. I'll take it in to someone at somepoint in the next couple of days, but it doesn't look good. Thank goodness for jump drives! I got a lot off of it before it died. But I'm still missing about 2000 songs. Meh - we'll see what happens.

In the meantime I am all set up on Adam's computer. I have my files put where they belong, and my desktop looks like mine. So heck - whatever. Most households only have 1 computer anyway. I'm just spoiled. Maybe I'll spend more time in the gym and less in from of the computer! LOL then again... school starts in a week and Adam will likely want access to his computer.... hopefully we can get used to it without too much of a scuffle!

I also found out today that I didn't get the jo at Canadian Blood Service. They decided to hire from within, which isn't a surprise, but I don't see why they would interview a slew of candidates, when the person who already works there is the obvious choice.

Oh well - that was my day.

On a brighter note, I hung with Red all day, and we had a blast. I love seeing her. And Adam and now have most of our centerpieces (yay). Oh - and I found the white gloves for my girls to wear! SCORE!!!

Meh - my day wasn't horrible - but it wasn't the best. Tomorrow will be better when I finally get my home back in order!
