Sunday evening wind-down
So I spent the day yesterday on the golf course with my man. He loves golf and I'm determined to give it a good fair try. It wasn't bad though - I enjoyed myself. Although I did get a bit frustrated around the 9th hole.... but I got over it and embraced the green. It wasn't too crowded (I assume because of the weather) but it wasn't all that bad. We didn't get rained on, which is a big plus!
Then we headed to the jewelery store to see a ring designer. Since my ring is an original and not part of a modern set, we need to have a ring made to fit with it. I'm the bride who will wear both together. So, the designer understood that I'm not that flashy of a person, and that I wanted something simple but elegant. So he came up with a wonderful design. It's all very exciting. And Adam found the band that he wants too, so our wedding bands are all set now! One more thing done.
Then we spent a nice evening together, watching a movie and recovering. The day turned out to be very long.
This morning we got up and made gluten free BLTs. It was wonderful! Oh I miss bread. The bread we used was gluten free, and not the best, but certainly not the worst. Perhaps there's salvation for me yet!
