Yes I did ask for this. I did and that's okay.
Melissa, Adam & I had a great session tonight. Thank goodness for formula sheets! It's my saving grace! But still, I'm pretty sure I can apply them right now, which is good. (Fingers crossed!)
This is going to be a weekly Sunday study-thing for the rest of June, until the course is over. Thank goodness. I very much would like to have a handle on things week by week (the way it's supposed to go). I know this much - if I ever need to take another condensed course, I will have a tutor (a good one) lined up a head of time. (Word to the wise people!)
Wow - must sleep now. 12 hours of study time gives Pammi a sore neck, heavy eyes and foggy brain syndrome.

Tomorrow is the exam....
I'm having a really great day......so far.
I got to have a great visit with Alice (I miss you) and a wonderful day doing things around home while studying.
Then there's studying. Melissa is on her way over now for a study night, complete with added tutorial when Adam gets home from sports night.
My mantra....
"I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this.
I asked for this. I asked for this."
Oy.

Grumble grumble grumble....
I started today in a great way - and it continued throughout the day. Until stats.
Still..... I got home from stats and was back in a good mood. Until there was more stats...
Now I'm all cranky.
Stupid stats.
Hmmph.

Zzzzzzzz

I am so tired! And I know, at half past midnight I should be on my way to bed (and I am), but holy crow! I thinks it's hilarious how tired I am. A hard day of stats can be exhausting!
But then I treated myself with My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I haven't watched that in years, and it was a nice.
I have a feeling this week is going to drag. However, He's Just Not That Into You comes out on DVD on Tuesday, so that should help. I loved that movie and can't wait to see it again! I"m also hoping that I'll have an easier time breathing this week - whatever is going on with my ribcage is killing' me (that just reminded me that I have a massage on Friday - ya!). Okay, well, perhaps this week won't be TOO bad, but I'm not expecting anything spectacular.
I got a message from my aunt in Calgary today, congratulating me on the wedding. I made a point to call my grandmother earlier this week (yeah yeah - I know, a little shocking) because I wanted her to hear it from me, so I guess she must be passing the word around. It makes me wonder if Karen knows yet. If so, that must be a hurricane of terror right now ~ but you reap what you sow! Still, to be a fly on the wall... nah! Who am I kidding? I don't have the armour to duck guilt like that. I'll stay over on this side of the world, with less crazy people (you didn't think I was going to call any of you sane, do you?).
Okay.... going to bed. Owls have more natural eyes than I do right now.
Nighty-nite!
~ P
Off. to. bed.

Silly midterms
Thursday, May 28, 2009
Oh Thursday....

With Adam home sick for 2nd day in a row, and me not at 100%, today is not the best day in the world.
Poor Adam! I'm so sorry you're sick Hun. I know you hate to be sick. I love you and want you to feel better. Hugs!!
The next week is looking very busy. I have a studygroup, a midterm, work if I can use my arm tomorrow, and general life. Plus, I would love to get enough accomplished to be able to make Tina's BBQ on Sunday, so here's to hoping! And using my arm....
We have tickets to Cirque de Soleil tomorrow - I can not wait. After missing the Nutcracker the way I did, nothing short of hell on earth will make me miss this. I can't wait to go!
So Adam got me into watching Dexter Season 3, and it was pretty awesome, I must say. I loved it. Which is surprising since I couldn't stand to make it through Season 1. Go figure.
Told my grandmother about the wedding, and she was pleased. Step 1 done.
Fox renewed my new fav shows - Dollhouse & Chuck. I really hope the rest of you get into them b/c they rock!
Okay - off to the day I go.

Dislocated ribs? Think again!

Hello all!
So I woke with what I thought was a dislocated rib. Guess what? There is no such thing, according to my family doctor and 2 emergency doctors.
Anyway, I headed to the chiropractor, thinking he would fix me up. He was a complete quack! (A quack-o-practor is what I call him). All he did was NOT crack anything and HIT my ribs with some sort of hammer. Uh... Mr Quack? That's not helping.
So I got home and called my GP back, and got right in to see her. She said I needed to go to the ER, so off I went. After X-Rays, blood test and a CT, and (yet again) they don't know what's wrong with me. So they sent me home and told me to come back in the morning if it's not better. (it hasn't been better in 3 days, so why would it be tomorrow morning after the day I've had?) And on top of it all, they had given me dilotted (sp?) and it didn't affect me at all, so they forced me to bring some home, despite the fact that it did nothing for me. I don't think that's how drug control is supposed to work.
So I'm at home and now what? Argh. This year sucks.
P
Ow!
Yeah - so I woke up on Sunday with a dislocated rib. Meh?!?!? I didn't even know that was possible! It hurts so very much, and prevents me from breathing normally. Bleh! The last two days have sucked!
So I'm heading to the chiropractor this morning to have it re-set. I am NOT looking forward to this. I have avoiding those people my whole life because they scare the crap out of me. Whoa - this is going to be SUCH a fun day.
*whimper*
Otherwise, life is uneventful. My schedule is crazy busy, and there is nothing I can do about it. Dangnabbit.
I thought sunny days were supposed to be happy days? I miss the rain!
