So no work today, wahoo! A total bright side. And with the time difference, I really appreciated it. That's one heck of a bright side.
Today I was pretty productive; dropped my ROE off the EI, pulled my credit report from TransUnion (awesome), and managed to get some laundry and dishes done, and had started on dinner and cookies by the time Adam got home. Not bad at all.
Although, as it turns out, I don't have too much on the go for tomorrow...yet. I'll find something!
Had dinner with Krystal and Mike on Sunday, which was nice. The new Moxie's Bar &Grill in Dartmouth Crossing is very nice; much like the ones out west. I'm looking forward to going again, although I may have to remember to order less next time - their serving of a sandwhich and fries was very very big! But yummy :)
Looking forward to having family and come and stay with us this coming weekend; they will be our first over-night guests, so I'm very excited. It should be fun!
Get this: my (former) work called me twice this morning, in less than 2 hours. Why, you ask? Well, it turns out they gave me the original copy of my evalution, vice a photocopy, and want it back, and she wanted to know what I did with someone's file. Well, as we were talking she discovered the email I sent her about where the file was (duh) and I told her that I go back to work part-time with my unit on the 24th, so I'd send her the original then. She was shocked, and asked if I could get it to her sooner, and I said since I wasn't working there, and being paid for travel, that I wasn't going to make a special trip just for that. Ha ha! I'm a bad-ass.
XOXO
