Crazy week!

So much has happened in the last little while!

My friend Kristi got married last weekend, so Adam and I took our very first trip to NB together, and it was wonderful! I haven't seen Kristi in a few years, and it was wonderful :)

We also stayed with friends of mine Friday night, so they got to meet Adam, which was wonderful!

Adam's birthday was this week, and it was wonderful! We went to Maxwell's and everyone showed up! It was a lot of fun. And now we get to play with Adam's new Wii (a la me). Which I just love playing. Although... my bicep was sore when I went to be last night - lol.

Lots on the go today - cleaning and cooking. Loving the rainy weather. I know we've had less than perfect weather the last few months, but not too many rainy rainy rainy days like this, where it just downpours. And I do love the downpours. I wish we could get some thunderstorms to go with it, but that doesn't seem to happen in the city (Ok, well maybe I just don't hear them downtown). I miss thunder and lightening!

Finally!

So a few months ago my massage therapist left to go somewhere else, and I've been having trouble trying to find a therapist who can do what she did for me. Well today I did! She is amazing and awesome and did everything perfectly. I have definitely found a keeper!

And I also got my wedding veil today! I own it, it's mine, and I love it. The lady at the boutique adored it profusely, and I have to say - I have good taste! You just wait!

Argh Mondays

Okay, I have been having issues falling asleep for over a week now, and I don't want to anymore! I got to bed at 3:30, couldn't sleep until 4:30 and had to be up to have Ava in Dartmouth for 8.

Oy. Me sleepy. And I have a headache. But I'm not sure I want to sleep yet. No, scratch that. I'm not sure I can go to sleep yet.

Yawn.

Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend. And now I am enjoying some girly television and finishing off a cup of tea.

I have discovered a cute girly-girl show called Privileged. It has the girl who played Cheyenne on Reba in it, and it's exactly what I've been looking for. Yay for my indulgences.

You know what's funny? I haven't been thinking about the wedding much lately. It feels like we are in a planning lull. Instead I feel like taking time for me. And I have to admit, I'm really enjoying it. When I was talking to Maren today (as I was cooking up a storm) she mentioned how happy she was that I was cooking as much as I am. That was nice to hear.

Actually, I'm enjoying a lot of things right now. Ahhhhhhh......life. Me likey.

It was wonderful! I am looking forward to going again in a couple of weeks. It was great to have Tina and Ingrid there too. And yes Ingrid, I had salad with my chicken when I got home.

Sleepy. I think I'll crawl in bed with a book until I doze off. What a way to start the weekend!

Hoorah!

Harry Potter was wonderful and awesome and so great! Much much better than the others, and well worth all the hype.

I must say, however, a couple of things I expected to see were not in it, but just the same, I give it 10/10.

Harry Potter!

So last night I ended up with a horrid headache that hasn't yet gone away. It hurts and I don't like it. It had me up from around 230 am to 430 am since I couldn't lay there in bed not sleeping anymore. Argh.

And I still have it! I feel like I need to be put on a stretching rack and have my neck and spine stretched up, but the regular stretching I do to decompress isn't working. Poop!

I'm watching the premier of Harry Potter tonight! I'm super excited. It has gotten excellent reviews so far. I'm super excited. We won't be home until 3ish, so my poor Adam is going to be exhausted tomorrow at work. Thank you Adam! I love you!

I met baby Brendan Penny last night. Such a sweetie. Every woman in that room has their heart melting. Especially Carla.
